Autism friendly environmental audits
Autism-friendly environments enable autistic people and their families to engage with their communities in a positive way. These communities will include workplace environments or facilities used by autistic people such as health services, retail outlets, public transport and leisure venues.
As the largest autism specific charity in the East Midlands, we have been supporting autistic people and their families since 1968. Using our autism-friendly checklist and 50 years experiences we can create an autism-friendly environmental audit bespoke to your workplace or establishment.
Accessibility and inclusivity is key to any autism-friendly environment. Thank you for your help. We really appreciate your time and observations that have contributed in enabling us to move forward in an appropriate way.

Does your workplace conform to the Disability Confident Employer Scheme and are you making the necessary workplace adjustments? Our audit will highlight ways in which your company can work towards meeting these national standards.
Our environmental audit will help you to identify the challenges that an autistic individual may face when visiting or working at your premises. The audit will look at the entire environment considering factors such as: noise, lighting, decoration, smells, proprioceptive awareness and signage.
The audit will recommend some practical solutions and provide assistance where applicable.
