Jane receives a bouquet of flowers after concert

Musical maestro, Jane Peverley wowed an audience with her piano playing during a special concert at Whitwell Community Centre at the weekend.

The local centre kindly opened its doors for free to enable AEM to invite locals, family and friends to an evening of piano music where Jane was the star performer.

Jane, who lives at one of our services in Derbyshire, has enjoyed music since a very young age and trained at the prestigious Royal School of Music in London. Over the years she has performed at many concerts.

“She loved entertaining again this weekend,” explained Shaun Cummings, who supports Jane and helped organise the evening. “The centre was excellent and very supportive. Jane enjoyed her moment in the spotlight. She coped amazingly well and it was a great evening for us all. We’re grateful for everyone’s support.”

Admission to the concert was free but almost £200 was raised through donations on the night. All donations will go to Autism East Midlands.
