Chesterfield Football Coach backs AEM in London Marathon

Chesterfield football coach and former player Gary Roberts will be running the London Marathon on Sunday to raise money for Autism East Midlands.
Gary's football career began in Liverpool but over the course of his career he has played for a wide range of teams including Accrington Stanley, Ipswich Town, Huddersfield Town and Chesterfield.
After retiring from football, he joined Chesterfield as first team coach in April 2022.
Chesterfield FC tweeted their support for Gary's fundraiser, asking for others to support his fundraising efforts "to raise awareness of autism and support for those living with autism."
Gary similarly posted on X, referring to the cause as "close to my heart" and wrote the following on his fundraising page:
The aim of Gary's fundraiser was to raise £1,500 for Autism East Midlands.
At time of writing, the fundraiser has raised £2,149 for our cause.
