"They're my second family" Beechwood staff member enjoys wedding day with service residents

With many of our services being 24/7, it is no surprise that our service users and support workers can build a positive rapport with one another.
But Support Worker Samuel cherished this relationship enough to invite our Beechwood residents to his very own wedding!
Beechwood is one of our accommodation services, based in Nottingham, which provides a supported living service for autistic people to live within their local community.
Support staff working at our residential services will work shifts at all times of day, 7 days a week, including overnight, on bank holidays and even during Christmas and New Year.
With this in mind, service users and support workers will see a lot of each other, so it is not surprising that Samuel referred to our Beechwood residents as his "second family" and wasted no time in celebrating this joyous day with them.
Congratulations to Samuel and his stunning bride. We wish them all the best for their future happiness together.

At Beechwood we provide personalised support for autistic adults in Nottingham, enabling them to become more independent. Housed in a semi-detached property with eight bedrooms over two floors, our support is tailored to each individual. We strive to enable our residents to live with choice, independence and dignity whilst boosting their self-confidence and keeping them safe.
