AEM launches search for new trustees

Dukeries SWP 211123 2

Autism East Midlands has launched a search for trustees to help shape the direction of the charity moving forwards.

As a charity, Autism East Midlands is governed by a Board of Trustees, who will lead the organisation, ensure that the charity is accountable and shape the strategic direction of Autism East Midlands in the years to come.

The role of a trustee is a volunteer position, but only requires roughly 30 hours per year in which trustees will attend a mix of in-person and online meetings, as well as a strategy day.

While not required to apply, the Board are particularly interested in hearing from applicants who have experience in the following sectors:

  • Adult social care
  • Finance
  • Law and/or legal services

We value diversity and inclusion, welcoming applications from those with lived experience and diverse backgrounds.
